GAIL SREBNIK has been the Executive Director and Principal of EXPLORATIONS since the 1999-2000 school year. Ms. Srebnik has 31 years of experience in the field of education. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's Degree in Special Education (Learning Disabilities) from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. Ms. Srebnik also holds a Sixth Year Specialist Degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven. She is licensed in Colorado and Connecticut as an Administrator, Principal and Teacher.
Gail has presented workshops on curriculum design and has lectured internationally on issues concerning learner centered education.
She resides in Connecticut during the school year and vacations at her home in western Colorado. Gail and her husband, David Meade, have been married for 31 years. Their son, Jesse, is a professional musician living in Eugene, Oregon.
