JoANN HAYES is a licensed nurse and graduate of the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing. She is licensed to practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and has served as staff nurse, charge nurse and nursing supervisor. Ms. Hayes has provided care on private duty as well as at Newington Children's Hospital (now Hartford Children's Hospital).
JoAnn is the eldest of five children, and a native of Hartford, Connecticut. She has five wonderful children - three sons, a stepson, and a stepdaughter, plus two grandchildren, and another grandchild on the way!
In July 1997, JoAnn joined the founding staff at EXPLORATIONS. She feels that this has been one of the best journeys of her life. “Kids are what keep you young and sometimes crazy - thank you for lending me your children for six hours a day!”
