Larry Shortell



LARRY SHORTELL teaches Special Education at EXPLORATIONS.  He received his Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from the University of South Florida and his Master's Degree in Education from Cambridge College in Massachusetts.  Larry has taught in public and private schools in Florida, Alaska, Hawaii, and, of course, Connecticut.

Larry grew up in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, and has lived in the state, on and off, ever since.  He spent four years serving our country in the United States Navy, stationed in California, Florida, and on the USS Coral Sea.   In addition to teaching, Larry's interests are travel, scuba diving, motorcycles, photography, and kayaking.
