LINDA TURBIDE teaches Spanish at EXPLORATIONS. Linda earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Foreign Language and Literature with a major in Spanish and a minor in French from the University of Hartford, and studied at Texas A&M University, the University of Texas, the University of Maryland, Harvard University, and in Madrid and Marbella, Spain. She currently attends Graduate School at the University of Hartford, where she is pursuing a Master's Degree and a sixth year in school counseling.
Linda lives in Connecticut with her Norwegian Elkhound and her son, Jimmy, a sophomore at Roger Williams University. Her daughters, Elizabeth and Diana, are both graduates of the University of Hartford. In November 2008, Linda became a grandmother for the first time upon the arrival of baby Kayla Elizabeth.
