All Members of EXPLORATIONS' Governing Council serve as volunteers and are vested in the success of EXPLORATIONS and it's mission to assist students in earning a high school diploma. The Council meets monthly, usually on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at EXPLORATIONS CHARTER SCHOOL and are open to the public. EXPLORATIONS' Executive Director/Principal, Assistant Administrator/School Nurse, a Faculty Member and the Senior Class President also attend each Council meeting.
Meeting Agendas are distributed/posted by the Executive Director in advance of each Council Meeting. Minutes are customarily recorded by the Secretary of the Governing Council, and are sent to the Executive Director for disbursement to Council Members. Final Minutes will be posted upon Council review and approval.
