It is the goal of EXPLORATIONS Charter School to develop students into adults who will be good citizens, good and productive role models, and giving individuals who will make a positive contribution to society.

EXPLORATIONS Charter School is one of Connecticut's first charter schools. Located in rural Winsted, Connecticut, EXPLORATIONS was founded to meet the needs of bright high school students who were not motivated by the traditional public school setting, but were full of potential for greater academic achievement.
